EXHIBITION POLICY

You must have a Rodeo Results Account to sign up for exhibitions!

• Exhibitions can be purchased by pre-entering on the Rodeo Results App OR, if available, On Site-EITHER WAY YOU MUST HAVE A RODEO RESULTS ACCOUNT

• Only the person who signed up for exhibitions & is named on the official Rodeo Results Exhibition list will be allowed to take them. 
• Any one else will be directed to the entry office for proper paper work & fees before allowed in the arena

• All participants in exhibitions (even if not racing) must pay an administrative fee.
• On App Fee is $15
• On Site Fee is $20
• Exhibitions /Exhibition Sessions are Non Refundable Once the Draw Is Posted
• Missed Exhibitions are Non-Refundable
• Unused Exhibitions are Non-Refundable 

• Regular Exhibitions(singles) are scheduled on 3o minute pages
• Exhibitions & Exb Sessions are managed by a GFR Crew Member who will instruct you on our exhibition format.

• For an Unlimited Exhibition Session do not show up near the end of the session and then complain you did not have enough time!

RACE FORMAT POLICIES

• Go Fast Races reserves the right to scratch any rider that cannot get their horse in the arena, for any reason, within a reasonable amount of time. If this occurs there are no refunds.
• BE READY FOR YOUR RUN! DO NOT COME FROM THE BACK 40-You may be scratched!
• If there are holding pens-you MUST be in the holding pen the drag prior to your drag set
• 3 Calls is ALL YOU GET!  Announcer's Decision is final. 
• If you are not in the On-going Drag or the Next Drag you will not be allowed in the holding pen
• Draw Position Change (if available) requires a $20 Reposition Fee
• 
  
• No Videos from Alley or Holding Pens 
• Only Announcer & Time Keeper are Allowed on Announcer stand or location where they are working from
• GFR Barrel Setters/Crew Members MAY NOT Video for Racers!
• 
  
• A Contestant may have ONE ADULT RIDER ASSISTANT- either on a horse or on foot to assist them in the alley. 
• Rider Assistant must pick up Rider Assist Wristband & Sign a Waiver in the Entry Office!
• Rider Assistants may help Racer start their run in the alley but MUST completely exit the alley once racer goes!
• NO WHIPPING of horses from the ground! You will be asked to leave!
• 
  
• A contestant will receive a no time for lack of forward motion, a broken pattern or a knocked down barrel.
• Forward motion -you may not stop, backup or circle after breaking the mouth of the alley! Racer is responsible for knowing where the mouth of the alley is!
• Announcer's Decision is final on Forward Motion Violation.
• 
  
• If you run out of order during the race for any reason you will receive a no time with no refund.
• There are No Refunds if you miss your posted draw run FOR ANY REASON !
• No Re-Runs or refunds are issued for tack failure that occurs prior to a run or during a run.
• Missed Runs may purchase another entry fee plus $10 and be placed at the bottom of the draw or next available number.
• If there is a timer failure, a re-run option will be offered or entry fee refund

• Buy Backs are allowed. Full entry fee plus $10 is required 
• Buy Backs must be purchased at entry office (not on the app) 5% Credit Card Use applies
• You may purchase a Ghost Run and run again in the race if you need or want to correct your horse in the real race environment. Ghost Runs are not put in the pay out.

• Do not leave children/minors unattended.
• No bicycles, skates, skateboards, scooters, segways, hoover boards of any kind, running or playing in or near the Arena, Warm Up areas, Holding Pen or in an enclosed Entry Office! 
• NO DOGS in entry office! Dogs MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES AT ALL FACILITIES

• GFR reserves the right to remove any competitor, guest of competitors or spectators if deemed necessary for non-compliance of any policies/rules or safety concerns.
• GFR is not responsible for any damage to your hat, helmet, tack or any other item that comes off of you or your horse in the warm-up area, alley or arena!

Our Goal: “To Teach Better Safety Not Preach”

• Only Racers/Riders with paid entries or exhibitions should be in the warm-up area during race time.
• Some GFR Races will require you have a "race wristband" which is available upon check in at the entry office. 
• Rider of any age that is not in control of their horse will be asked to leave.
• Warm Up Area on Race Day is not a “training area” or "socializing area"
• Warm Up Area Etiquette is expected along with Common Sense to be utilized.
• Any Rider we deem to be a problem in the warm up areas/holding pens, any race space we will remove them
• Non-cooperation is an Automatic DQ with no refund.
• NO Pop-Up Barrels or other equipment allowed in warm-up area. They will be confiscated.
• No bareback riding in any facility riding spaces during a race or for any exhibitions
• NO Ponying, Lunging or Rolling of horses in warm-up area during races
  
• Minimal Cell Phone Use is recommended.  Go outside for long conversations!
• NO Smoking in the warm-up area or anywhere in the facility-we will call you out on this! Go to your Trailer or car
• No smoking at the stall barn-again go to your trailer or car
• NO tying up of horses to panels inside OR outside the warm-up area or arena
•  Tied Horses will be moved at owner’s expense! 
• Horse owners we recommend putting an appropriate tail ribbon on your horse for safety.
  
• -Red Ribbon indicates Kicker/Aggressive/Moody
• -Yellow Ribbon indicates Stallion
• -Green Ribbon indicates very young or green horse-little experience
• Parents please accompany your young children everywhere! Including bathrooms, stalls, arena areas.
• Do not leave young children unattended or alone. 
• We will act on uncooperative children & parents
• NO TOLERANCE POLICY for inappropriate behavior at any time You will be removed/DQ
• Please go to Entry Office for help with any situation you are concerned about!
• If inclement weather occurs, we will announce any adjustments.
• GFR reserves the right to alter or change any of the above at any time if necessary to provide a safer environment as well as a great experience.

HOLDING PEN RULES (If there is a holding pen at facility)

• The entrance/exit to the holding pen areas may be monitored.
• The Monitor may ask your name when entering the holding pens, if you are not in the current drag or next drag you will be asked to exit the area
• The next 5 racers must be in the holding pen ready to run by the time the tractor stops for your drag
• The next ten runners must be in the holding pen. 
• You will be scratched if you try coming from the back 40 with no refund
• We move fast and you will be scratched after 3 reasonable calls
• You will be scratched if you cannot get your horse in/down the alley within a reasonable amount of time-announcers decision is final-No Refund

 HOT ZONE-THE ALLEY

• NO ONE IN ALLEY DURING REGULAR DRAGS
• NO VIDEOS FROM THE ALLEY, ARENA OR HOLDING PENS-we will call you out
• ONLY CURRENT RACER SHOULD EVER BE IN THE ALLEY
• RACER ASSISTANT ALLOWED (only 1 per racer/must have wristband & be 18 or older) - -MAY HELP start the run --May NOT go beyond mouth of alley 
• Racer Assistant MUST COMPLETELY GET OUT of the alley once runner goes (does not apply to Leadline runners)
• We will call you out if you remain in the alley
• DO NOT STOP IN THE ALLEY TO UN-CINCH OR TAKE BOOTS OFF AFTER A RUN-we will ask you to move on

RACER FORMS

No Paper Forms, Pictures of Forms or Scanned Documents accepted

• ALL Racer forms must be completed online at gofastraces.com/forms 
• Forms should be submitted prior to any race.
• Forms only need to be submitted ONCE PER YEAR OR resubmitted if legal name or address changes.
• A Waiver is required to receive winnings & required of everyone on foot or horseback entering the arena, outside warm up arena, covered warm up area, holding pens or alley for any reason!
• IRS W-9 Form-required to receive winnings even if racer is a minor and prior to event.
• If you submit incorrect information on your W-9 you can be fined up to $290 plus penalties by the IRS and subject to pay any fines/cost that Go Fast Races may incur due to an incorrectly submitted W-9. Please understand it is important that you properly fill out your W-9 with your legal name (as issued by the Social Security Administration) and provide your correct SSN# OR if you are a business you may provide your EIN #(employer identification number) as issued by the IRS.
• All winnings will be issued to the Racer in the Racer's Name if by check
• Checks are mailed to the address ON THE W-9-make sure it is correct! We DO NOT reissue checks! 
• No check payments will be issued in a business name.
• Direct Deposits may be issued to a parent's account for a minor age rider OR to a designated person or business account with corresponding W-9 with racer's name and proper SSN# or EIN#.
• If Racer resides in another country then a W8-BEN must be submitted. Contact: mitzi@gofastraces.com
• Forms must be submitted within 10 days from last race day or winnings will be forfeited

HORSE FORMS

• A Current Negative EIA (Coggins) must be provided upon check in or made available at any time upon request for each horse on the facility premises.
• Out of State Horses must be prepared to present a certified Health Certificate issued no earlier than 30 days (standard certificate) prior to event or submit an EECV( extended equine certificate of veterinary inspection) For more information on equine health inspection certificates contact your veterinary OR visit https://www.globalvetlink.com/eecvi/ or contact the Texas Animal Health Commission at: tahc.tx.gov
• We reserve the right to have any horse removed from the facility if there is cause to be concerned for safety of said horse or any other horses/person affected by horse in question.

• Incorrect Information will delay you getting paid
• Mailed Checks will be processed and go out within 15 business days of the last race day.
• Checks & any packages are mailed to the ADDRESS ON THE W-9
• Checks must be deposited within 30 days of issue date or they are voided
• Replacing a winning check , FOR ANY REASON, will incur a $35 Stop Pay Fee( deducted from racer winnings)  and will require a DIRECT DEPOSIT FORM BE COMPLETED. This is the only way to receive a replacement.  
• We will not mail out duplicate/replacement checks for any reason
• Both a current Waiver & W-9 must be on file 
• If we do not receive the required forms within 10 days or 3 request attempts, of the race day you will forfeit your winnings and any prizes.

 GFR HAS NO TOLERANCE FOR THE FOLLOWING & WE TAKE IT SERIOUSLY

• Go Fast Races has a NO TOLERANCE policy for animal abuse and people abuse and reserves the right to determine what animal abuse/people abuse is.
• Children on foot or in strollers ARE NOT ALLOWED in the ARENA, WARM UP PEN or HOLDING PEN!
• DOGS (unless dog is a certified service dog with credentials) are NOT ALLOWED in ENTRY OFFICE, ARENA, ENCLOSED WARM UP PEN/HOLDING PEN/CONCESSION AREAS. If you cant abide by this rule please leave them in your trailer or at home.
• All Dogs must be on a leash at all times and not left unattended/tied up any where within the facility. Unattended dogs will be removed or any dog that is deemed to be a nuisance or safety concern by producer or event staff.
• No barking dogs in stands we will ask you to leave.
• We will not tolerate abusive language or attitude to our vendors, crew members, arena facility staff, sponsors, representatives, officers or owners by any contestant or any traveling associate or family member of the contestant.
• Parents SHOULD BE PRESENT for your Under 18 Minor to enter our races on site. 
• If a Parent is not present, then parent must submit a WAIVER FORM at: gofastraces.com in their name with minor listed
• We WILL NOT TOLERATE RUDE, UGLY, SMART MOUTH RACERS OR SPECTATORS OF ANY AGE FOR ANY REASON!  AUTOMATIC DQ PERIOD!
• We absolutely will not tolerate any form of "hate crime" or "hate attitude" toward any of our staff or facility members.
• Any harassment during or after a race of any crew member, facility staff, or other Racers, etc. will be pursued legally and prosecuted.
• All photographers (professional or amateur) must obtain express consent from Go Fast Races to photograph any event.
• Any photographer or videographer taking photographs to be sold without prior express consent from Go Fast Races will be asked to leave the premises and any attempt to resale any photographs will be acted upon legally.
• By Entering the event, Contestants grant producer & facility the right to use any photographs or video taken of him/her during the event, including but not limited to those taken during competition or while otherwise attending the event.
• Contestants are expressly prohibited from taking pictures/videos of photographer/videographer proofs or recorded runs at the viewing booths unless approved by the event videographer or photographer.
• Any person lifting watermarked photos from the official photographer and posting on social media will be called out and contacted for removal of post and payment of digital picture or acted upon legally
• Press credentials are required for all commercial photographers or videographers on the host facility grounds during the event. Credentials can be obtained in the show office or contacting: mitziangelle@gofastraces.com.
•  Individuals without prior approval and proper press credentials will be escorted out of the facility by security.
• Go Fast Races reserves the right to refuse competition entry or spectator entry to anyone if we deem necessary
• No Alcohol brought into the facility
• No Smoking within the facility.
• Not cooperating with any of the above policies may lead to law enforcement being called to remove offender.

What is the HYBRID D PAY BREAK:

It is the best of both worlds!  The 1D is paid a bit more % and the 2D-last D are paid a bit less but equal.

Example:

5D Hybrid Pay Break %: 24,19,19,19,19

4D Hybrid Pay Break %: 28, 24,24,24

3D Hybrid Pay Break %: 40, 30, 30

What is "Variable" Pay Out:

Final Payout % of each race is determined by race location, attendance, other variable factors Most often is 75% on the open,

What is Trainer Time: 

1.5-6 hour exhibition sessions that you may take unlimited exhibitions on unlimited horses. A take turn format with barrels on the stakes. We do limit participation so don’t wait to join the session toward the end! You must be listed on the official Trainer Time List to be allowed in the arena

No one other than paid participants are allowed in the arena. You must have a Rodeo Results account whether you pre-enter of enter on site.

What is a Ghost Ride:

A Ghost Ride is for a rider or horse that may not be ready to compete for money but wants to get the experience and feel for a real race environment. You are issued a draw# in the actual race and subject to all actual race policies. Only available on site. There is no payout and office fees apply. Not for Futurity Horses Starting their Careers the following year.

What is Prelim: a limited session that you make take unlimited exhibitions on unlimited horses. A take turn format on the stakes. Number of participants is limited. Prelim, when offered, will occur prior to a Barrel Session.

Regular Exhibitions: Single Exhibitions. We recommend pre-entering for these as they fill quickly. They are Non-Refundable once signed up. Regular Exhibitions require the daily process fee be paid if not entering the race as you are using the facility like everyone else. You may not sell them or transfer them to another rider without notifying the office first and new rider must pay the daily office fee. Barrels are not on the stakes.

After Race Rehab(exhbitions): Only happens if we have time which we announce near the end of each race. Exhibition sessions that you may take unlimited exhibitions on unlimited horses. Limited to only 1 hour after race ends. No daily process fee required. *Not Available at Thanksgiving Classic Race.

• Vendor space is limited at our races. Official Yearly Sponsors are given priority.
• ANY provider of any Equine Services or Products must be pre-authorized to operate or set up at any Go Fast Race.
• You may not just set up at your trailer OR rent a stall and offer services or products without authorization! You will be asked to leave.
